NRG RECOGNITION AWARDS

Bill Campbell

MERITORIOUS SERVICE
2004 TO 2022

Bill Campbell has distinguished himself by outstanding meritorious service in support of the Northern Recon Group. His professional
leadership style and continued support of veteran’s groups and non-profit groups have made the Northern Recon Group one of the
most outstanding Affiliates of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association. Bill has helped to develop a lasting relationship with
Feather Falls Casino which began in 2016. He has led in the development of the Northern Recon Group to over
three hundred memberships over a six-year period. In that six-year period, the Feather Falls Casino has donated
over $70,000 to veterans’ groups and non-profit groups that the Northern Recon Group Supports. Bill’s selfless service
at all of these fundraisers at Feather Falls Casino has contributed to the instrumental mission accomplishment of the Northern Recon Group.
He has served in many volunteer leadership positions to include President. Bill has acted as President in numerous
times of need and always answered the call. He constantly gives his time and resources and says he is like the guy behind
the curtains that no members need to know what he has done. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of
Bill Campbell reflect great credit upon himself, the Northern Recon Group and the
Military Vehicle Preservation Association.

David Palmerlee recognized for Meritorious Service to the Northern Recon Group and Military Vehicle Preservation Association from 2004 to 2018.

MVPA Roll of Honor
2016 MVPA Roll of Honor
This award is intended to give special recognition to those individuals, or organizations, that have made outstanding national or international contributions to serving the interests of our members, and, in increasing public awareness of the importance of restoring and preserving historical military vehicles for our future heritage.
Criteria for eligibility to receive the award are varied. They include extensive published contributions on historical military vehicles; the establishment of major military vehicle museums or collections, which encourage public visitation and access to information on vehicle restoration; or other, widely recognized services, which assist our members in their vehicle restorations, preservation or use.
Any person(s) living or deceased is eligible to receive the award with the exception of those who are currently serving on the MVPA Board of Directors in any elected, appointed, or other official capacity. The award is not to be considered as an annual requirement of the MVPA, nor is there any restriction on the number of awards that may be presented in any given year.
The MVPA Awards Committee will be chaired by a member of the Board, appointed by the President, and will consist of three (3) additional members, selected by the chairperson and approved by the Board. The Awards Committee may itself select inductees and will also accept recommendations from the MVPA membership. The Awards Committee presents their inductee recommendations for Board approval at the winter meeting. The final inductees will be announced at the MVPA Convention Awards Banquet at which time a certificate will be presented.
